ALL GCASH USERS WITH GCASH MASTERCARD

Just now, many people became a victim of FIS MC ECOM modus. They didn't know about this vendor or retailer but when we searched the name here in FB, a lot of posts from victims like me appeared in the results warning their friends about the bad experience. 

On the brighter side, and in my case, the money was credited back to their account but other victims, in their posts, were unfortunate to receive the same. 

So here's what happened:

• they got a text msg notification from GCASH that they paid a certain amount to ALIGNED MOD ( when checked in GCASH, this is FIS MC ECOM)

• a few minutes later, the mentioned amount was credited back to the gcash account 

• then that repeats.. 

They waited for the second time it will credit the amount back to their account before taking an action just to ensure that nothing will be lost from the end. After the last credit text notification, they navigated thru the GCASH app and immediately LOCKED the linked GCASH MASTERCARD. 

Hence, for now, they think he/she may be safe from this mastercard modus but will still be vigilant about the transactions made online. 

Also, they say that you should reckon the recent use of  GCASH MASTERCARD just yesterday when I used it (again) in Foodpanda payment. Therefore, I suggest that you deactivate and don't use your GCASH MASTERCARD these days for online payments/transactions until this issue is resolved.
